Sara Playdate #3

β€œWe even stopped at a toy store! They had the biggest stuffed animals and shiny puzzles. I wanted to bring everything home!”

β€œAnd then the best partβ€”we went to the park for a picnic! Dad packed sandwiches and crisps and little chocolate biscuits. We sat under a huge tree and watched ducks swimming in the pond.”

β€œOne duck kept quacking like he wanted our food! We gave him a tiny piece of bread crust and he did a little duck dance!”

Sophia sighed dreamily and rested her chin in her hands.

β€œLondon sounds magic. Do you think Sweden will have parks like that too?”

β€œEven better,” Sara said with a big grin. β€œDad says there are forests with real reindeer and lakes that look like mirrors. And maybe we’ll have picnics there with lingonberry jam!”

The girls finished their pancakes, sticky fingers and happy hearts. Outside the window, the sky was blue and brightβ€”just like the promise of more adventures waiting.
